KNAPP, Oliver “Jr” - (Retired from General Motors Oshawa) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Oliver “Jr” Knapp.
He passed on Saturday September 1st, 2018 at the age of 88.
He has now re-united with his wife of 45 years Cynthia ( Bruton).
Much loved father of Cecil and his wife Maureen, Bruce and his wife Sandra, Shawn and his wife Karen and Jason and his wife Charlene. Loving grandpa of Melissa, Melanie, Kaytlyn, M.J., T.J., Bruce Jr., Breanne, Robbie, Sheldon, Veronica and Myra. Loving great-grandpa to Sophia, Noah, Travis, Destanie, Denver and Michael.
Survived by his sister Lois, predeceased by siblings Kate, Herb, Ernie, Albert, and Ross. He will be remembered fondly by all of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to gather at Newcastle Funeral Home, Newcastle on Thursday September 6th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Funeral service in the funeral home on Friday September 7th at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior.
