FREEMAN, Scot “Scotty” Freeman  -It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Scotty’s passing. He passed away suddenly on September 3, 2018, peacefully.

He will be sadly and forever missed by his mom, Verna and dad, David, his sister Suzanne (and partner Ryan), his brother Dave (and partner Nadja) and his 8 year old son Ryan.

 

His niece, Alexis and nephew, Kash will greatly miss their Uncle Scot as will all of our extended family and friends.

Scot was an all around great athlete however he was a particularly extraordinary golfer and excellent hockey player.

If he wasn’t playing, he could be found diligently watching the Leafs, the Jays, the PGA, tennis, football, basketball, you name it he truly loved it.

His love and passion for sports could only be topped by the love and passion he had for his young son. He was not only a very proud father but he passed his gift of athleticism onto his son, which brought him great fulfillment and joy!

Scot was a cherished Son and Brother and made friends for life always, he will be greatly missed! He was beloved by all and made memories with many.

To celebrate Scotty’s life, remember his many qualities and share stories, we ask you join us at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, for visitation on Friday September 14th from 7-9pm. The service and celebration of Scotty’s life will take place in the Chapel on Saturday September 15th at 2pm.
