Grandma Ruth will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew and their mother, Judy, by Colin and his mother Elizabeth and by Cathy's children, Ryan and Sasha. Born on June 6, 1929 to Byron and Jessie Risebrough, Ruth was an active member of the Sandford Community and for many years a successful real estate agent in the area.

In 2003 Ruth remarried and moved to Richmond, but maintained her ties to Sandford until ill health prevented for doing so.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.

In Ruth's memory donations can be made to Sandford United Church, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

The family extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at The Glebe Centre who cared for her over the past three years.
