MASON, Terry - It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Mason on Tuesday the 18th of September, 2018 after battling multiple health issues over many years.
Terry was born on October 20th, 1928 and died 1 month prior to his 90th birthday.
Loving husband of Grace Mason (deceased 2015) and father to Lynn Lemon (Jonathan), Steve Mason, Sue DuMoulin (Mark), Ian Mason (Dhian) and Kathy Thornborough (Tim).
Adoring grandfather to Cara Mason, Mark George (Amanda), Robert Couchman, Ian Mason (Sharon), Neil George (Andrea), Michael Couchman (Miranda), Andrew Couchman (Shannon), Jenny Thornborough, Jessica Mason (Juhani), Maggie Thornborough and Lizzie Thornborough. Loving great-grandfather to Cruz George and Christopher George. Predeceased by great-granddaughter Hope George and great-grandson Thomas George.
Terry had a strong faith and was filled with great peace during his last days.
In his last weeks Terry enjoyed being surrounded by his family and took a special delight in his great-grandchildren who always brightened him up during their visits.
He will be remembered with love and joy. Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the amazing Doctor, Nurses and Caregivers who assisted Terry at home.
Visitation will take place at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Friday, September 28, 2018 between 7p.m. and 9p.m.. A celebration of Terry's life will take place at Shobrook Gardens (1 Elgin Park Dr, Uxbridge) at 2p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Arms of Jesus Children’s Mission.
