GOLDSTONE, Donald Rae 'Goldy' - It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of DONALD RAE GOLDSTONE (Goldy) on Friday, September 21, 2018.
Loving and devoted husband of Catherine (Rusnell) for almost 53 years.
Deeply loved and respected father to Dianne Lewis (Mark) and Ken (Serena). Cherished Papa to Chris, Amanda, Kyle, Cassandra and Jimmy.
Predeceased by his parents Chris and Ruth Goldstone and survived by his sister Elaine Stevenson.
Goldy was very close with his sisters and brothers in-law, Grace (predeceased) and Lawrence Medd, Dorothy and Sid Kent, Marion and John Lamers, Carl (predeceased) and Maureen Rusnell, Gloria Rusnell and Ivan Disney. He also adored his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and his great, great niece Juliet.
He loved all of his aunts, uncles and cousins and is survived by his Uncle John Cook (Mary) and his cousins Reg Carter (Joyce), Bonnie Lipka (Julius), and Beth Harrington (Bob).
Visitation will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge on Friday, September 28th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 29th at 2:30 p.m. with visitation from one hour prior.
If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, the War Amps or a charity of your choice.
