HARTMAN, Alexandra - (1966-2018) Passed away suddenly, at her home in Uxbridge, Ontario, leaving her heartbroken husband Mark Bailey and daughter Ariana Bailey, her mother Sylvi Hartmann, and brother Andreas Hartmann.
Alexandra was a loving mother and a good, true wife and friend to whom family was all-important.
She was the heart of our little family and greatly loved.
Alexandra cared about people.
Those who knew her recognized her amicable nature and depth of character.
She will be sorely missed but warmly remembered by her family, friends, and the many people of Uxbridge who met her through her work as CEO of the Uxbridge Township Public Library.
After earning her MA and MLIS degrees at the University of Ontario, Alexandra’s career led to posts as a librarian in Newfoundland/Labrador, Saskatchewan, and for the last fifteen years in Uxbridge.
A memorial visitation and time of sharing will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 between 11:00 and 1:30, with refreshments to follow, at Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Toronto Sick Childrens’ Hospital would be appreciated.
