CLAUS, Michael P. (Mike) - June 1, 1942 - October 2, 2018
It is with deep sadness we share that Mike Claus has passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
He was at peace with his soul, steadfast in his faith, and we take comfort and rejoice that he has gone to be with his Lord.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Pat (nee Hagen) of 52 years.
Devoted father and Opa of Cathy Dentz (Calvin), Laura and Mark; Joanne McLaughlin (Dave), Nicole; Michelle Fluit (Steve), Megan, Katrina, and Mia; and Elaine Adema (Dan), Rachel, Scott, and Kristen.
Survived by his brothers John (Agnes), George (Meeke), sister-in-law Jean (Louis) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Hal, sisters-in-law Marjorie and Ann.
Visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.
Celebration of Life will be held at Hebron Christian Reformed Church, 4240 Anderson Street, Whitby on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m.
Private interment at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Christian School Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
