CHEN, Alex - It is with broken hearts the Chen family announces Alex’s sudden passing on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the age of 19.
Beloved son of John and Trish. Loving brother of Brandon.
Cherished grandson of Len and Peggy Chen and William Kilb.
Treasured nephew of Richard and Debbie Chen, Katie Lin, and Jan and Ed Rayner. Adored and remembered by his cousins Shawn, Shevon, Kevan, Karena, Crystal, Vanessa and Jess. Deeply missed by the love of his life Paige and his many “Bro’s.”
Visitation will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Sunday, November 4th from 11am until the time of the service in the chapel at 1pm. A reception will follow on the lower level.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex’s memory may be made to the 3 Wishes Program at St. Michael’s Hospital. The program supports families in creating meaningful memories at the end-of-life. It is the program that provided materials to create the mementos for the grieving family (e.g. ECG strips, hand print, and recording of Alex’s heart beat). The Trauma Neurosurgery ICU staff would not have been able to facilitate this without the 3 Wishes Program.
