TRAPP, Evelyn Trapp - Evelyn (nee Moore) passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at the age 88.
She was the beloved wife and lifelong companion of the late Cliff Trapp of 61 years.
Evelyn was born on November 28, 1929 in Toronto Ontario.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Dianne Brown, Brian Trapp (Helen), Arlene Jordan (Wayne) and Kevin Trapp (Rhonda).
Evelyn was a loving grandmother and will be fondly remembered by Greg, Carly, Heidi, Markus, Lukas, Adam, Kyle, Jennifer, Ryan and Sean.
She was also a great grandmother of Giovanni, Alessia, Matteo, Katherine, Tristan and Dylan. Evelyn was a generous individual which was exhibited in her volunteer work. She volunteered her time for both hospital auxiliaries in St Catharines and Port Perry.
She also volunteered her time with the Blackstock Lioness and thoroughly enjoyed this time. She loved working in and took pride with her garden while living in Blackstock.
Also, while living in Blackstock, she joined the curling club which she enjoyed participating in with Cliff.
Evelyn was a member of the Port Perry Seniors and Carving Club.
At the senior’s club she enjoyed the interaction of the euchre playing and shuffle board. Evelyn was a very talented painter and plied these talents to her folk art and the carvings her and Cliff made.
She was a unique individual and will be missed by her family and friends.
The Family of Evelyn Trapp will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Thursday, November 8th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
