SHAW, Veronica - We are saddened by the recent loss of Isabelle Veronique (Veronica) Shaw – nee deVillers (1926-2018), on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
She passed away peacefully in the early morning in Ballycliffe Nursing Home, at the age of 92.
She is survived by her two sons, James Bernard Shaw (Michelle) and Gregory Alan Shaw (Kathy), and her only grandson, James Owen Shaw.
She was born in North Bay and was one of 14 children.
Veronica led a long and happy life, and she enjoyed the simple things. She was married to the late Orville Shaw for 32 years.
Veronica was recognized for her love of family, and for her incredible sense of humor.
She enjoyed her weekly visits from her two boys. We will miss her dearly.
A private family mass and gathering will be held in her memory.
