Valvasori JohnVALVASORI, John B.  - Passed away peacefully, at home on February 13th, 2019 in his 81st year.

John B. Valvasori, "Sonny" to his family and friends in Hamilton.

Husband to Georgina.

Brother to Ronnie (Rene), Jeanette (Paul), Bettie (Barry) all of Hamilton, and sister Rose (Phillip) of Australia.

Predeceased by his sister Joanne, brother Jimmy and his sister-in-law Joyce.

John will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his brother Jimmy, John was instrumental in newspaper distribution for Hamilton and the Durham Region.

He was a real estate agent, and loved "wheeling and dealing" in the industrial/commercial market.

Over the past few years, John and Georgina ran a successful printing/publishing operation.

You could always find John "at the office" fixing machines and sharing his words of wisdom.

He loved to frequent Tim Horton's, have a small coffee-1/2 sugar/1 & 1/2 cream- and his newspaper. Once the news was read, he and his companions would get to work, solving the world's problems.

He was resilient and tough, yet showed a gentle, compassionate side.

He had strong beliefs, a kind heart and a warm welcoming smile. His love of nature and for animals was obvious, especially his love for Charlie Dog.

Private prayers were held and cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
