KORESSIS, Lucas - Ninety-one years old, Lucas went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2019, in the early morning hours.
He passed away peacefully with Betty, his beloved wife of 57 years at his bedside.
Father to Christopher, Christine and Tim; grandfather to Alexander and Adam, Lucas will be fondly remembered.
As the founder and president of a language services company, his contributions and dedication helped shape the language industry in Canada from the late 1960’s up until his well-deserved retirement in the early 2000’s.
Special thanks to all of the management and staff (especially those working on the 3rd floor) at the Douglas Crossing Retirement Residence who cared immensely for Lucas and kept a watchful eye over him.
The family also wishes to thank his physician, Dr. Kristen Giller and her team at Uxbridge Health Centre.
An intimate gathering for immediate family members will take place at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 3p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucas’ memory can be made at the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
