ZELLEN, Stella (nee Augustine) - In her 90th year, of Uxbridge and formerly of Dundas, passed peacefully surrounded by love after a 9 month journey with colon cancer.

Stella was a kind, humble, compassionate, nurturing lady who touched so many lives with her loving presence and authenticity.

She was full of unconditional love that she freely shared with those around her. Stella was always supportive, accepting, inspiring and generous.  She was understanding and had a forgiving heart that always looked for the best in people. Many of Stella’s friends have shared these precious thoughts with her daughters.

Born June 30, 1929, she was predeceased by her parents Rosalie and Stanley Augustine, her husband Edmund and her brothers Stanley and Albert.

Stella is survived by her sister Helen and four daughters and their partners; Lynn Zellen, Karen Vanderlee, Wendy Zellen & Gwen Zellen, 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

Family held an important place in Stella’s life.

A celebration of Stella’s life will be held ‪on Saturday April 27th with a service at 2:00 followed by a celebration until 4:30 at Low & Low Funeral Home, ‪Uxbridge.

The family wishes to thank all who have extended their support to Stella during her difficult journey, Stella’s Shobrook family and Dr. Jennifer Wilson with her team of caregivers.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation would be a great way to honour Stella.
