John Carl Peter Stringer
STRINGER, John Carl Peter - John Stringer April 29, 1954 – Monday, April 15, 2019
On April 15th as a result of pancreatic cancer.
John is survived by his wife Elaine (Edgley), daughters Holly and Rachel, step-daughter Meaghan (Matt) and grandchildren Logan, Adrianna, Elliott, and Cayden.
He will be missed by sisters Elaine, Jackie, and Louise, brother Bob (Betty), sister-in-law Sharon and brother-in-law Wayne (Lee), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his four-legged family Buddy and Leo.
As per John’s wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family are very grateful for all the excellent support they have received in the past year from Princess Margaret Hospital, Sunnybrook, and Lakeridge Health Oshawa, particularly Dr. Rothenstein, Dr. Vincent Ho, and also palliative nurse Alison Dunn.
