WOOD, Ruth Isobel (nee Ashton) Wood - Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday May 31st, 2019 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of Dick Wood.
Loving mother of Donna (Dale), Shirley and Barry (Sherry).
She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Ruth was predeceased by her sisters Helen Graham and Wilma Scott.
Dear sister-in-law of Keith (the late Helen), Ralph, Boyd (the late Doreen) and Norah Hetherington (the late Paul).
She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, on Monday June 3, 2019 from 7 – 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday June 4th, 2019 at 1 pm, with visitation from 11 am – 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Hospital Foundation or a CHARITY of your Choice.
