O’TOOLE, Margaret (nee Cutts) - Margaret O’Toole passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at the age of 92.

Born in 1927 in Yorkshire, England, Margaret was a graduate of the University of British Columbia (BA), McMaster University (MA), and the University of Toronto (Ph.D).

Margaret had a full life, living, studying, and working all over England, Newfoundland, British Columbia, Hamilton, San Diego, and Toronto.

After retirement, she loved living in Wellington, Pickering Village, Whitby, and Port Perry.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Roger, beloved son George (Annette), and adored grandchildren Clare and Iain. Sister-in-law to Ken (Ro) and Terry (Barbara) of England. Special Aunt to Jeff (Noelle), Chris (Sharon), and Kathryn also living in England. Predeceased by her father (George), mother (Clara), and brothers Ken, Harry, and Jack. Also predeceased by her lifelong friends Sylvia (Harry), Malcolm (Susie), and Steve (Lila).

In lieu of flowers, Margaret requested donations be made in her memory to the Canadian Red Cross which provided care for her eldest brother when he was a prisoner of war in Poland during WW2.

A private family service and interment will be held.
