HARTFORD, Ruth Carol (Saunders) - It is with great sadness, that the family of Ruth Carol Hartford announces her passing.
Ruth passed peacefully, surrounded by Family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 29th, 2022 at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of Cecil (predeceased) for over 50 years.
Cherished Mother to Douglas (Frances), Alan (Jennifer) and David (Tammy) Hartford and treasured Grandmother to Alec, Theo, Jumah, Matthew and Liam. Survived by siblings Joan and Bobby (predeceased by brother Arley).
Ruth will forever be remembered for her love of family and friends, nothing made her happier than gathering for food, fun and a rousing game of Euchre.
Ruth gave back to the community (Saint Vincent de Paul & Community Care) and the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years and established a large network of friends.
Arrangements with the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
