ETHERINGTON, Leona Ann (Hazelton) Etherington - 1931 - 2022
After bravely fighting a battle with Alzheimers, Leona passed away peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Home in Bracebridge October 29 2022.
She is predeceased by her husband of 54 years Milt.
She is survived by her son Paul, daughter Diane Smith (Dan deceased), grandchildren Spencer, Quinn, Sydney (Emil) and Madeline, Great grandchildren Carter, Nikolas and Kalia.
Leona loved summers at the Family Cottage on Moon River in Muskoka.
She was an avid seamstress and could sew anything, and nothing pleased her more than being with her Family.
In keeping with her wishes, a private cremation has occurred. Family and friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 4th at 1-4 p.m. at McEachnie Funeral Home 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax.
