Killingbeck JoyceKILLINGBECK, Joyce Elizabeth  (NEE AGNEW)  -

Peacefully at home on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of 50 years to Gordon (deceased).

Loving mother to Lynda Ellis, Phyliss Myatte (Joe d.), Gerry Ellis (Laura d.), Kim Trempe (Les), Glenn Ellis (Marg), Mary Glaister (Wayne) and Lori McFarling (Garrett d.).

Devoted grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and aunt.

Predeceased by her parents Harry and Beatrice Agnew, sister Kay Lloyd, brothers Earl and John Agnew and grandson Bill Trempe. Survived by sisters in law Edna Agnew and Barbara Agnew.

She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that's all that mattered to her.

She loved to read and took great pleasure in reading to her grandchildren. She loved her flowers, garden and cooking. In fact, she cooked in logging camps for a number of years.

Most of all she looked for the humour in every situation. Her favourite saying was "you have to be able to laugh at yourself".

Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1 p.m., until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.

If you wish, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers.

Online condolences may be made at makfuneralhome.com .
