Joao “John” De Melo Costa passed away Christmas morning December 25, 2022 at the age of 91 years.
Beloved husband of Maria Virginia who passed away March 31, 2018.
Loving father of John (Debbie), Connie, Lucia, Danny (Delores).
Proud grandfather of Jamie (Sean), Jason (Caroline), Christine, Adam, Celina and Adrian and great-grandfather of Hunter, Travis, Rain and Brady.
Survived by siblings Irving, Lucy and Connie.
Predeceased by his siblings Joe, Daniel and Silvano.
John was born in Ribeira Quente, Povoacao, Azores.
He left his home to come to Canada for new opportunities.
With his loving wife Maria Virginia, John worked hard and together they provided a good life for their family.
He will be dearly missed.
