HOY, Stanley James - Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 27, 2022, at the age of 92.
Beloved husband and best friend of almost 60 years to the late Alice Edith Hoy(nee Taylor).
Loving father of Wendy Booker(Neal), Douglas(Cathryn), Kenneth(Terri) and Janice Hoy(the late Earl Strong).
Loving Papa of Justin(Kiersti), K. Ryan, Jeremy(Ashlee), Kevin, Amanda, Brennan(Kaitlyn), Taylor(Kim), Blake, Brock and Brody. Great grandfather to Addison, Cooper and Luke.
Stanley was the last of his siblings and will be dearly missed by all of his extended family and friends.
Stanley was raised in Kendal, and moved to Courtice to put down his roots, where he will be remembered around town for his music, oatmeal raisin cookies, and as a pillar of Faith United Church.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 3 at Morris Funeral Chapel (4 Division St., Bowmanville) from 1pm until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 2pm. Cremation to follow.
If desired, memorial donations to either Faith United Church or The Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Canada are greatly appreciated.
