 HODGSON, Glenn Robert Hodgson  -  1929  –  2022

We have lost our wonderful husband, dad, Papa and friend and he has found peace.

Glenn passed away at Hillsdale Estates Oshawa on December 26th, 2022, and we are forever grateful to the Trillium Trail staff for their wonderful care.

Glenn was born in Tyrone and lived most of his life in Bowmanville.

Beloved husband of Marjorie (Nee Mutton) and cherished dad of David, Paul (Lesia) and Kevin. Proud Papa of Jeremy, Jennilee, Jack, and Daniel.

He was predeceased by his parents Dean and Verna Hodgson. Survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law Doug and June Woodlock, and brother-in-law John Lunn.

Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him. Glenn worked for 8 years for CIBC and retired after 33 years from General Motors in 1986. After retirement he was a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society and Community Care for 20 years.

Glenn loved spending time at the cottage in Haliburton that his parents built in 1945. Glenn was a talented pianist and had a great sense of humor.

He loved to travel with Marj and their special friends Bill and Shirley.

Glenn loved his family, had many friends and was a loyal Trinity United Church member and lived and loved life to the fullest.
