Bill was Born in Toronto on December 23rd 1943 to Leslie Henry James Sayer and Isabel Sayer (Jarvie) and raised in East York for 20 years

Married Prudy December 10, 1966 and raised his family in Henry Farms,  a fabulous community in North York.  Upon Retirement Bill and Prudy moved to Lagoon City to be close to their many friends and of his beloved Tanzer 22 sail boat named after his beautiful and cherished wife PRUDENCE.

Bill enjoyed a career that spanned 35+ years at Sun Life Assurance Canada.  He started as an office clerk and was quickly promoted to sales.  Through hard work, dedication and pure love of working with and mentoring people he ended his career as Sun Life Scarborough Branch Manager.

To add to his business accomplishments, he was actively involved in his community and his love of racing sailing boats.  He was Commodore at both the Cooks Bay Yacht Club and the Lagoon City Yacht Club, and an active member of the JayCee Club and Rotary Club.

Bill’s most remanding quality and what he will probably be remembered  for, other that being a fabulous and devoted husband and father, was his powerful fun loving presence that you couldn’t help but be drawn into every time he entered the room.

He knew how to make you laugh and more importantly how to be a cherished friend and adviser of wisdom when someone was in need.
