Crilly JamesCRILLY, James "Jim" Douglas   -  November 7, 1959 - January 16, 2023

It is with profound sadness that the family of James ‘Jim’ Douglas Crilly announces his sudden passing on January 16th 2023, at the young age of 63.

Jim will be deeply missed by his cherished partner Rose, his beloved daughter Brittney (Jordan), his dear stepchildren Ashley & Neil Platts and his best buddy dog, Spencer.

Jim will forever be lovingly remembered by his three sisters, Sue, Diane and Norma and his two brothers, Bruce (Susann) and John (Luanne) and their families.

He is now reunited with his late Mother and Father, Florence and Jack, his older sister Kathy and his dearest friend and brother-in-law, Ted.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jim will remember him for his quick wit, his joyful sense of humour and his ability to light up any room he entered. Jim embodied a kindness that turned strangers into friends wherever he went and he was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jim was retired from Toronto Police Services after 31-years of dedicated service.

Cremation has taken place and friends & family will be received for a celebration of life at The SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE at 1057 Brock Road in Pickering on Saturday January 28th, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions made to the Lung Health Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.

Online condolences may be made at etouch.ca .
