Passed away at her home in Port Perry in her 70th year.
Beloved wife of Mel Steinke of 47 years.
Dear daughter of the late Veronica and John LaRue and loving daughter-in-law to the late Eva and Edgar Steinke.
Loving mother of Jasmine Halk (husband Paul) of Stouffville and Matthew Steinke of Pickering. Loving grandmother that will be dearly missed by three grandchildren Anastasia, Carter and Quinn.
Dear sister to Jackie Murphy (husband Walter), Suzanne Terrell (husband Fred), late Chris LaRue (wife Linda), Vincent LaRue (wife Roberta), John LaRue (wife Karen), Margaret Bruni (husband Sergio) and Marie LaRue. Sister-in-law to Lloyd and Sandra Steinke. Dear aunt to Mike and Tracey Murphy and many loved nieces and nephews.
Pauline was the most kind, loving, devoted, nurturing, and gentle-spirited person. Her life centered around her family and friends and her love to travel.
She was the heartbeat of the family. Her genuine nature and compassion for others touched the hearts of those she met. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
