Gardner MargaretGARDNER, Margaret "Doreen" (O'Regan) Gardner   - 

October 27, 1940 - February 20, 2023

 

Passed away peacefully at her home on February 20th 2023 at the age of 82, in Oshawa Ontario surrounded by her loved ones, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Born to Arthur O'Regan and Margaret (Neary) O'Regan on October 27th 1940 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and grew up surrounded by her large family.


A hundred hearts would be too few to carry for the love she had for her beloved husband Glen Gardner, they were together for --years.

Doreen had tremendous strength, courage, love, an incredible sense of humour and a deep love for her family. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, swimming, traveling, soaking up some sun, and family gatherings.

Loving mother of Catherine Brown (Nathan),  John MacPherson (Darlene), Arthur MacPherson (Jackie), Donna Walker (Paul), Glen Jr. Gardner

She is survived by her siblings Penny, Jimmy, Patsy, Katherine, Donna, Debbie, Billy, Wayne, Patrick

Loving Grandmother of Karrie, Krystal, Adam, Aliesha, Christina, Brandon, Jacqueline, Liam, Shannon, Connor, Meghan, Dwyane, Sherril, Steve, Natasha

Proud Great Grandmother of Corrado, Justin, Johnathan, Austen, Logan, Marisha, Kalista, Leland, Celeste, Klover, Aiden, Damon,Leland, Stefan and  soon to be a bundle of joy born Leonardo to grandson Liam and fiancee Dani.

She was preceded in death of parents Arthur and Margaret O'Regan, her son Arthur, brothers Alexander and Arthur, and sisters Dorothy and Cecilia

She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME located at 5295 Thickson Rd, Whitby. Visitation from 12: 00 Noon until time of Funeral Service in the Barnes Chapel Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
