Ewing BettyEWING, Betty Lou (Snook)  -  March 1, 1955 - March 10, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Lou Ewing (nee Snook), who left us on March 10, 2023, in Oshawa, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family. Betty Lou was born on March 1, 1955, to her parents Blanch Pike and Raymond Smith.

She was a devoted wife to her husband Doug Ewing for 46 years, a beloved mother to her children Kelly Ewing and Jerald Ewing, and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Makayla, Riley, Lily, and Adalyn.

Betty Lou was known for her unwavering strength, fierce determination, and loving heart.

She was never afraid to speak her mind and always stood up for what she believed in. Betty Lou was a true force of nature who brought joy and happiness to everyone around her.

Throughout her life, Betty Lou was a constant source of support and encouragement to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or provide a shoulder to cry on.

Betty Lou will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire us all. Her family takes comfort in the knowledge that she is now reunited with loved ones who have passed before her.

The family of Betty Lou would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and staff at Lakeridge Health. Your dedication, professionalism, and kindness during Betty Lou's final days were truly appreciated.

Rest in peace, Betty Lou. You will forever be in our hearts.
