HARVEY, Wayne 'Hang On' Harvey - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital on February 28th, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
Loving husband of Deborah Desjardins.
Much loved father of Ron Harvey, Ken Harvey (and wife Joanne), Laura Van Buren and step father to Daynette Desjardines (and husband Eddy) and Jason Desjardins (and wife Robin).
Ex husband to Marilyn Harvey. He will be lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Gail Lott (and husband Wayne), the late Keith Harvey and the late Mark Harvey.
Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Elizabeth Harvey.
Wayne had such a passion and love for making music. He loved writing songs and was quite the poet. We are so grateful to have his music and YouTube videos to remember him by. He was always the life of the party and was loved by many.
He fought hard through his pancreatic cancer this last year with great pain and many treatments.
We are all very thankful that he has finally found peace.
We will remember Wayne for his sense of humour and love of music. We love you!.
