ROCHA, Patricia Oakley (nee Lomath) Rocha -
March 30, 1938 - April 01, 2023
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 1, 2023, in her 85th year, Patricia returned to the Lord and the arms of her beloved husband Augusto Rocha.
Loving mother to Bevis (Diane), Victor (Christine), Steven (Brenda). Cherished Nanny to her grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew (Ann), Jonathan, Derek, Caitlin (Will), Drew, Evan, Larissa and to her great grandchildren, Oliviana, and Henry.
Patricia married the love of her life on April 08, 1958, and embarked on her lifelong journey with Augusto, travelling to Portugal, Bahrain, learning a whole new language and finally settling in Canada to watch their legacy unfold.
Here
Patricia lovingly nurtured her family while taking the time to support many other Portuguese immigrants as they navigated their new lives in Canada.
Patricia was a faithful Christian and was recently honoured as a long-standing member of her Pentecostal community. We will miss her presence here on earth, mourning our loss, but celebrating her incredible life holding her forever in our hearts.
Family and friends will be received at Evangelical Pentecostal Church, 374 Farewell Street, Oshawa on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1 pm until the time of service at 3 pm. Interment MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY. Arrangements with Mount Lawn Funeral Home.
