She was predeceased by her loving parents Mary Ann and William King, siblings Mary Moyser, Billy King, Jimmy King and niece Carolyn King-South. Special sister-in-law of Harry and Nancy Callis, Raymond and Susan Alford, Lori King and Kathleen Dowling.

Honorary mother-in-law to Lou Ann and Rob Parish. Loving aunt to Kevin (Christine), Kathleen (Kevin), Paul, Danny (Miriam), Susan (Peter), Veronica, Sara (Charles), Isaiah (Law), Emma, Jackie, Sarah-Jean (Fraser), Maggie (James), Jennifer (Shayne), Shawn (Roberta) and Stacy. Much loved great-aunt of Carter, Paige, Brendan, Madison, Dylan, Liam, Michael, Sabine, Ally, William, Campbell, Claire, Katie, Cece, George, Jaden, Shiloh, Patrick and Emmett.

Beautiful friend of Debby Hrazdira. Jean was also a loyal and loving friend to many people whose lives she touched over the years.   Jean was a loving, selfless, kind and giving person.

She was a tireless volunteer with many different organizations, including the Catholic Women’s League, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Circle of Friends to name only a few.

She had a wicked sense of humour, the most contagious laugh and could often be found creating mischief with a twinkle in her eye! Jean loved her family fiercely. She was the glue that held us all together and was our family social convenor.

Arrangements with Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home.

Family celebrations will not be the same without her, she will be truly missed by all of us.  We would like to thank the entire amazing staff and the volunteers at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry for their compassion and support that they provided to Jean. You are all Earth Angels.

If desired, donations can be made in Jean’s name to Oak Ridges Hospice.
