FLINT, Carolyne Ann (Nee Piper) Flint  -

June 6, 1946 – April 27, 2023

With her family surrounding her, Carolyne passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 76 years.

Beloved wife of the late Blayne Flint.

Loving mother of Justin (Sara) and Ryan (Bobbie).

Adoring Nanny of Ben (Brittney), Poppy, Scout, Remy and Ruby.

Lovingly remembered by her brother Larry (Virginia) Piper, sister Dale (Don) Sturrock and brother in law Kelvin Jones.

Carolyne was predeceased by her parents George & Helen Piper and sisters Joan and Faye.  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and greatly missed by her many friends and beloved cats, Annie and Homer.

Carolyne was an animal lover, Toronto Blue Jays fan and skilled gardener.  She enjoyed the simple things in life like country drives and feeding the birds and hated trophy hunting more than anything else.

She is now happily reunited with the love of her life.  The family wish to thank the incredible staff, doctors and nurses at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Med/Surg unit and ICU for the care shown to Carolyne during her final days.

It was much appreciated!

A Celebration of Carolyne’s Life will be held at Bowmanville Royal Canadian Legion, 109 King Street East on Monday May 8th from 5 – 8 pm.  Words of remembrance will be shared at 6:30 and light refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation or Durham Region Humane Society.
