SABAN, Margaret  -  With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Margaret Saban on May 31st.

Predeceased by her husband Ernie and son Brian, she will always be remembered by daughters Patty Jaques (Lyle), Diane Meharg (John) and Sheila Saban.

Fondly remembered by her grand children and great grand children, Alex, Eric; Sean (Parisa), baby Viam; Rob (Samantha), baby Gracie; Tim (Robyn), Amanda and Jonathan.

Margaret was a long time resident of Uxbridge still living at home at the age of 92.

She was a great inspiration for keeping your mind and body active. In the winter Margaret, an excellent knitter, kept busy knitting baby sweater sets for the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital gift shop.  Additionally, Margaret also volunteered at the local Care and Share store.

During the growing season, she tended her gardens, taking care of her raspberries and tomato plants. Previously, she and her husband Ernie were members of the Horticultural Society and they both received their Master Gardeners certificates.

Up until the day before she passed, Margaret attended swim exercise at the Uxbridge Pool.

Many thanks to the staff at Uxbridge Cottage hospital for all their help.

A celebration of life will be open to anyone wanting to pay their respects, on June 20th at Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Box 388, Uxbridge L9P 1M8, between the hours of 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
