STOWELL-SMITH, Kenneth "Ken" -
January 26, 1960 - June 17, 2023
A devoted husband and beloved father, grandad, and active member of his community, passed away at the age of 63.
Born in Wallasey, England on January 26, 1960, and came to Canada in 1971 with his family.
Ken touched the lives of many through his involvement in various activities, his commitment to his church, and his unwavering dedication to his family.
His departure leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Ken cherished his role as a loving husband, dad, grandad, and brother.
His family was the center of his universe, and he revelled in every moment spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He shared in their joys, celebrated their successes, and offered unwavering support during difficult times.
His warm smile, witty sense of humour, and boundless love will forever be etched in the hearts of his family, who will remember him as a pillar of strength and a source of endless affection. Ken was a loving husband to his wife Brenda, and a dedicated father to children Angela (Ben), Valerie (Isaac), and Michael.
Ken was a devoted grandad to both Griffin and Archer in all that they did. He will be dearly missed by his sister Ann, brother David (Penny), and all his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We are grateful for the hard work of the medical teams at both Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
May his soul find eternal peace.
