VAN DE VALK, Robert Andre - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Andre van de Valk.
He passed on Monday, July 3rd 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family near his side.
He was an incredible Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and friend.
He will be missed dearly by his four children, Kristin, Matthew, Melissa, and Andrew.
His 2 sisters, Mary, Lynn, and his brother Ron. His 2 son-in-law’s Delon and Kevin, and his daughter-in-law Abigail. His four grandchildren, Kaelyn, Keenan, Jaxson, and Hayden.
He is now reunited with his beautiful wife Tarja and his parents Andre and Corrie.
Rob had a great career with Canada Post as a “postie” where he worked for over 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved having get togethers at his house.
Drinking, enjoying the pool and spending time together are memories that won’t soon be forgotten.
Rob was an avid hockey fan, his love for the Philadelphia Flyers was undeniable.
Although he may no longer be with us, his love and memories will live on with us forever.
May he rest in peace.
