FLOODY, Ronald “Ron” -
After a courageous battle and brave fight, Ron passed away with his loved ones by his side on Friday June 30, 2023, at the young age of 62 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Reginald Floody (dec. 1979) and Betty Mackin (dec. 1988), and his brother Reginald (dec. 1997).
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his dear sister Diane Finnegan and her husband Steven, as well as his special nephew Ron Polkinghorne and his wife Courtney.
Ron will be forever loved, and in the thoughts of his many close friends, including Tony, Laurie, and Sandra.
He was a selfless man who always put the needs of others before his own, and would do anything for anyone in need, while always keeping a smile on his face.
A special Thank-You to the nurses and doctors at both Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Bowmanville, for exceptional care.
A Memorial Service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Monday July 24th at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held a half hour prior, starting at 1:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region (HSDR) are greatly appreciated.
