THOMPSON, Doris Mary Thompson -
June 3, 1931 - July 19, 2023
Peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023 at Streamway Villa Retirement Home in Cobourg, ON, at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of the late Morley Thompson.
Loving mother of Terry, Sheila (Julio), Jeffery, and Laurie (Brian).
Cherished grandmother of David (Mellissa), Daina (Don), Adam, Reece (Anna), Jamie, and Kristen (Matt) and great-grandmother of Owen, Kailey Ann, William, Grayson, and Wesley.
Predeceased by her parents Gilbert & Angeline (nee Gallant) Thibodeau, her siblings Mary (James) Richards, Norm (Dawna) Thibodeau, Arthur Thibodeau, Shirley (Ron) Gay, Dave Thibodeau, Carmel and Theresa, and son-in-law Harkwood. Survived by her sisters-in-law Lois and Diane.
Doris was the last of her family.
She often spoke of her family and how even though she had some difficult times, she was so grateful that she had a wonderful life, filled with love and good times.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
