Frank passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the age of 82.
He was a loving husband of 60 years to the love of his life Bonnie (nee Gannon).
Cherished father of Scott and his wife Suzy, Jay and his wife Lori, and Shane and his wife Stacie.
Immensely proud Poppy to Kye and his partner Leanne, Liam, Kiera, Isabella, Josh, Jacob and Lily.
He is fondly remembered and forever loved by his many family and friends that will remember his smile and his quiet caring nature. Dedicated and proud press operator at the Toronto Star for over 35 years.
Even in his own difficult time, he continued to consider the needs of others, and offered comfort and encouragement. Throughout his life, Frank treated each day as an opportunity to help friends and family. Frank was always happiest at home with Bonnie or together with those he cherished.
Family and friends may visit OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Sunday August 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Frank’s life will be held in the Chapel Monday August 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
