CAMPBELL, Sandra (nee HIGGINS, formerly McKENNA and MATHEWS) -

December 9, 1940 - September 11, 2023

Sandra Campbell (“the Duchess”) passed away suddenly on September 11, 2023 at the age of 82.

She was the loving daughter to Paul Sr. and Evelyn Higgins. Sandra liked to remind people that she was her “father’s eldest daughter,” and she is survived by her wonderful siblings Paddy Ann (Mark McCarty), Shelagh (David Wilson), Paul Jr (Ursula Glackin), and Michael (Bruce McCartney).

Sandra is predeceased by her husbands David McKenna , Don Campbell, and Hank Mathews.

Sandra had three daughters that she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by Colleen (Bill Pocock), Shelagh (Max Gundy), and Emily (Scott Gamble); by grandchildren Ali (Nick), Evelyn, Maddie (Liam), Cam, Charlie, Jocelyn, Jaiden, and Mike; and by great grandchildren Rosie, and Jack.

Sandra’s reception at The Pearly Gates will be standing-room-only due to her popularity (she really was loved by all), and we apologize on her behalf for any unusual weather activity from the festivities that ensue.

For all of her dear family and friends, a visitation will be at the Mangan Funeral Home in Beaverton, Ontario on Sunday September 17, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. Sandra's celebration of life will be held following her visitation at Cedarhurst Golf Club 825 Thorah Concession Rd 4 Beaverton, from 3-7 p.m.

If so desired memorial donations in memory of Sandra to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
