JUNE 6, 1967 – SEPTEMBER 14, 2023
Passed peacefully with family and friends by her side in Hospice on Thursday September 14th, 2023, at the age of 56 years, after a brave battle with ovarian cancer.
Beloved daughter of George Reginald Archie Callender and the late Catherine Sonia Callender.
Loving sister of Colin Callender and his wife Susan.
Grand daughter of the late Myntrude Emmanuel.
Will be deeply missed by all her family and friends near and far. Céline will be remembered for her love of travel, theatre, arts, and her passion for her work at Covenant House for 20 years.
Many thanks to the health care providers at Princess Margaret and Toronto Western hospitals for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday September 29th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby on Saturday September 30th, 2023 at 10:30 am. Interment of ashes to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House Toronto or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated.
