MITCHELL, Karen Ann (NEE Neyman) - It is with great sadness that we announce that Karen passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023, at the age of 68 with her family and care team by her side.
Devoted Mother to Jessica and puppy Ozzy.
She was predeceased by her parents Ivan and Evelyn Neyman.
Karen enjoyed a successful career working at OPG for over 40 years.
In retirement she continued to enjoy lunch dates with former coworkers. She loved attending events in downtown Toronto, especially the plays at the Mirvish Theatre with Jessica.
Karen and Jessica also cherished time spent together cruising the Caribbean and fun-filled vacations to Disney World. Karen will be missed by all she met.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11:00 am till time of Service in the Chapel of Accettone Funeral Home, at 12:00 pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
