VIRGIN, Ted Arthur  -  Ted passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Monday, October 9, 2023 in his 82nd year.

Ted Arthur Virgin was born to Molly and Arthur Virgin on February 28, 1942.

He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Jean Hosking and Ken, his sister Doreen Lynchock and Red, his brother-in-law Jim Clancy.

Sharing in our grief today is sister Carol Clancy, and sister Jackie Ruggeri and brother-in-law Joe.

Ted has been happily married for 43 years to the love of his life Theresa.

He was loved and will be missed by their children Jeff Virgin and his wife Ruby, their daughters Isabella (Graham) and Sophia. Son Matthew, his wife Kathryn, and their daughter Reese. Their late son Christopher, and their daughter Jennifer.

Many loving sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews and cousins are sharing this grief as well. Ted was a great friend and had a abundance of folks that could be counted on no matter what.

Ted started working at GM in 1957 in the boys group. He had many jobs throughout his career until he started working at his favourite career, that as an R.C.M.P. Officer.

Fortunately, Ted was not really transferred yon and hither, but was lucky enough to be stationed around this area. After a lengthy and exciting career, Ted retired this vocation on February 28, 2002.

Teds family and friends supported him throughout the medical problems that plagued him during the last years of his life.

Family and friends will be received at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rod, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:30 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
