It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Christopher on Monday November 6th, 2023 at the age of 57 years.
Dearly beloved husband of Karen (nee Hookway).
Loving father of Jake Thompson (Lee), Late Danielle Thompson, Reagan Adams (Dustin), Cameron Beckett (Holly).
Cherished papa of Miller and Harper.
Dear brother of Martyn (Cathy), Sue Simeson (Al), Cheryl Cove (Tony), and the late Darryl. He will be missed by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Dear son of Joan Beckett and the late Dr. Roy Beckett. Son-in-law of Kay Hookway and Michael Hookway.
Chris will be remembered as a wonderful well loved caring man, he loved birdwatching, nature and his beloved Boston Bruins.
He was full of humour, funny stories and he had an incredible way of making everyone in his life feel special.
A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday November 9th, 2023 at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex in Bowmanville.
Thank you to the many family and friends who came to help celebrate Christopher's life and to those who were thinking of the family during this time and who were unable to attend in person.
