LEWIS, June (Judy) Florence Lewis - Passsed away peacefully on November 20, 2023 surrounded by her children.
She was 95 years old.
Judy’s legacy includes a large and loving family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alma and James Aldred, as well as her siblings James (Sylvia) Aldred, Jack (survived by Barbara) Aldred and Dorothy (Doug) Sadler and is survived by a host of nieces and nephews on the Aldred side of her family.
She was a loving spouse to Kenneth F. Lewis (deceased), mother to Jan (deceased), Michael (Lynn), Debbie Tippett (Peter) and Carolyn; grandmother to Stephen (LindsayYoung), Kathryn (Mathew Orr), Geoffrey, Colin, Erin (Dillon Wilder) and Sarah; great-grandmother to Everley, Connor, Lewis and Amelia.
Judy was born in Toronto and spent time in her early years growing up in the Ottawa Valley. She returned to
Toronto after high school to attend Shaw Business College.
Although she always considered being a mother the career she loved the most, she had successful careers at The Ontario College of Nurses and Murray Axmith before retiring to her next career, a passionate volunteer at the Toronto Zoo.
Along with her own family, she loved sharing her knowledge and teaching all the school children about the animals, their habitat and the environment.
