SUTHERLAND, Linda Sutherland  -  Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on November 26, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Loving wife of the late Ken Sutherland for 53 years. Cherished mother to Vance Sutherland (Diane) and Marcy Sarginson (Scott).

Proud Nana of Cameron and Travis. Survived by her sisters Ann Smith(the late Garnet) and Janie Whitney.

Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Dorothy Whitney, and her brother Craig. Linda will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of her extended family and friends. Linda's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Doctor Burke, for all of his care and compassion during her last days.

Linda was most happy when spending time with her family. She cherished her two grandsons and enjoyed every moment spent with them.

She always made time for her boys no matter what life was like for her.

Linda was actively involved with Scouts Canada for many years as the head Cub leader.

She was always readily available to help out in any way whether it be to transport kids to bowling tournaments, or to bake for a bake sale or to keep score on Saturday mornings for her kids bowling leagues. Linda never hesitated to help someone in need.

She was always there to offer support, her wisdom, honesty and humour was admired by many. Linda was a selfless person right up until the last days with her family. She will be forever missed by her family and all who knew her.

Friends are invited to celebrate Linda's life on Saturday, December 9 from 1-4PM at Morris Funeral Chapel(4 Division Street, Bowmanville).
