MCKELVIE, Rennie L. McKelvie  - It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rennie L. McKelvie on November 25, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

 

We are proud of his courage and dignity fighting this terrible disease.

 

Beloved husband to Lindsey, and previous partner Lorna (Jim). Proud father to Tracey (Robert), Daen, Simon. Adoring grandfather to Leanne (Steve), Kailey (Jason), Jennifer (Erich), Kristen, Bradley, Carys, Macklen, and great-grandfather to Ava, Lyla, Daniella and Sloane. Brother to Janice (Ed), Mike (Julia), Karen (Kevin), Peter, Gary, Craig, Shawn (Toni) and Katie (Shawn).

 

Predeceased by his siblings Bonnie (Aubrey), Susan and brother-in-law Bob. Rennie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.

 

Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Refreshment will follow from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

 

For those who wish, donations may be made in memory of Rennie to the Princess Margaret Foundation or the SHN Foundation.

 

Special thank you to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Rennie including the amazing Home and Community Care Team.
