After marrying in 1958, Ken and Evelyn went on to have 3 children, Richard Kenneth, James Daniel and Jennifer Rebecca. When Ken retired he spent his time happily reading, listening to big band music, researching an abundance of topics, and pondering world issues.      Ken was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Adele Spratley, his mother and father Phyllis and Sidney Spratley, and his daughter-in-law Kathryn Spratley.
