Passed peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Ajax on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 4:30 am just after his 72nd birthday.
Dave, beloved husband of Christine (nee Moore) of 47 years. Loving father of Melissa (Bill Sandiford) and Amy (Stephen Johnston). Proud Granddad of William, Chloe, Elizabeth, Kennedy and Lincoln.
Dear brother of Lynda (Al Pindar).
Predeceased by his parents David and Lenetta MacKinlay.
Son in law of Lil Moore and the late Alex Moore.
Dear brother in law of Sandy Moore (Kim), Cheryl (Ross Willett) and Jim Moore (Nancy). Dave will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A special thank you to the staff in the ACU, Radiology and Emergency departments at Lakeridge Health Ajax for their wonderful care and support.
A Celebration of Dave's life will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 11:30 - 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation Ambulatory Unit or the Emergency Department would be appreciated.
