Janina Lewchuk passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 72.
Born in Jagielnica, Ukraine, Janina immigrated to Canada, where she cultivated a passion for baking that would touch the lives of many.
Janina was a beacon of compassion and empathy, leaving a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She cherished her family above all else, finding joy in the simple pleasures of cooking, baking, and tending to her garden. Her warm smile and gentle spirit radiated kindness, making her a beloved figure in her community.
A pillar of strength and generosity, Janina's legacy of love will endure through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A funeral service to celebrate Janina's life will be held on March 21, 2024, 11:00 am - 12:00 am, at St. Hedwig’s Church, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa, Ontario, where those whose lives were touched by her presence will gather to honor her memory.
As we bid farewell to Janina, may she rest in eternal peace, her legacy of love and compassion serving as a guiding light for all who knew her.
