Panacci CarolPANACCI, Carol Ann Panacci -

September 28, 1953 - March 1, 2024

Carol was born in Singapore, and as a teen, grew up in Birmingham, England. In 1970, the family emigrated to Canada.

She was married to Ludovico Panacci, and the birth of their daughter Stella Maria was the joy of her life. Carol had a profound love of music, and had the ability to sing many songs off by heart.

She was known for her legendary rendition of “House of The Rising Sun”, and her performance was always filled with passion and enthusiasm. She loved all animals especially small dogs.

Many hours were spent in second hand shops, with her dedicated and compassionate friends, Cathy and Sue. She loved birthdays so much, and hers was never forgotten! Carol entered into long term care, at Orchard Villa after her illness was no longer manageable at home. There, she made new friends and participated in Bingo, Karaoke, and manicures.

Thank you to the entire activities team, and her besties, Jennifer, Niki, and Marlon for your encouragement and love.

Carol had such a strong team of people surrounding her with safety and love. Her roommate Catherine and her hit it off, and were loyal friends to the end. She will be truly missed by her only daughter, Stella Maria, her mother, Helen Spring, and her sisters Gloria, Stella and Linda.

Thank you to the entire team at Orchard Villa, DMC Dialysis Clinic Pickering, and the 12:30 group, Lakeridge Health Dialysis Team, and ward C7, in Oshawa.

Your kindness, love, and dedication gave us hope and reassurance in some precarious times.

Thanks to her favourite nurse, Salome, and the nursing team, as well as her beloved PSW, Cathy, Amanda, and the entire team on the Birch Unit. Thank you to Canon Stephanie at St. Paul’s on the Hill, Pickering, for being such a comfort to both Carol and Irvin, in their time of passing.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 24, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at The SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE - PICKERING, located at 1057 Brock Road in Pickering.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Denise House at www.thedenisehouse.com.
