WARRINER, Norman John Warriner  -    Passed away peacefully at home, with family by his side, on April 5 at the age of 71.

Born March 29, 1953 in Pickering.

John is survived by his wife and best friend of 24 years, Dot. A proud and loving father, stepfather and grandfather, he will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of his family and friends.

An avid sportsman, John could always be found somewhere in Wilmot Creek, playing wither pickleball, golf, darts or swimming in the pool. A true handyman, John was always eager to learn a new skill, and would take charge of any home renovation from floor to kitchen and patio to garden.

A Leafs fan through and through, John is in a better place where the Leafs actually win the Cup every season.

Friends may call for visitation on Thursday, April 25 at Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville) from 11AM until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Nature Conservancy of Canada (https://www.natureconservancy.ca/en/what-you-can-do/donate/) are greatly appreciated .
